French onion steak, Salisbury’s delicious recipe for a classic dinner! This casual meal is very easy to make and has incredible salty sauce!

Salisbury Steak :

This is truly a classic childhood, at least for those of us who grew up in the Midwest and loved all the comfort food in the fall and winter! I saw them calling salisbury steak, burger steak, and chopped steak. However, they are basically the same! Mix minced meat with eggs, breadcrumbs and spices, then roast it in a pan, then dip it in chocolate sauce! Either way, I already have a delicious steak recipe on my blog, and I know I want to make another copy, but mix it into one. Since everyone likes French onions and pasta, I think it’s best to make French onion burger pie. I’m right, French onion sauce is very tempting, and of course, putting cheese on it won’t do anything.

Make SALISBURY onion slices :

  • This recipe takes about 30 minutes. First, melt the butter in a large skillet, then add onions, Worcestershire and some beef broth. The onions will cook, you can stir from time to time for 6 to 8 minutes until they turn golden.
  • I like to make bread when cooking onions. Mix beef, eggs, spices and breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Cut the meat into 5 small balls, then make bread and place it on a plate.
  • When the onions are golden, put them in the pan and move to make way for the bread. Add beef and grill for 4 minutes on each side until it starts to brown, then remove the plate until clean.
  • Add onions and sprinkle flour. Continue stirring for one minute to cook flour. Then, while pouring the meat broth, use a wooden spoon to scrape each bottom of the pot. You only need 1-2 minutes to complete this section. When boiled with meat, the condiments will continue to condense.
  • Reduce the heat to the stove in a medium to low level, stir the onions, then put the bread in the pan. Now you will put a piece of cheese and parmesan on it. Parmesan cheese is optional, and you can use mozzarella cheese, gouda cheese, or white cheddar cheese instead of Provolone if desired. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 6-8 minutes until the bread is soft.

French onion steak, Salisbury’s delicious recipe for a classic dinner! This casual meal is very easy to make and has incredible salty sauce!

  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 lb large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 lb baby or small red potatoes
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seafood seasoning, or more to taste
  • 2 (4 oz) chicken or turkey cajun style andouille sausage links, sliced into 1/4-inch thick slices
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 Tbsp butter, diced into 1 Tbsp pieces
  • 2 ears corn, shucked and sliced into 1-inch thick disks

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Pour the chopped onions into thin slices and one tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and a quarter cup of beef broth in the pan, then stir to turn the onions.
  2. Continue cooking the onions, stirring occasionally, for 6 to 7 minutes until they turn golden brown.
  3. Meanwhile, add beef, eggs, one tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, Italian spices, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Use one hand or 1 tablespoon to gently mix the meat until everything is perfectly mixed.
  5. Cut the beef mixture into 5 balls, then press the bread and place it on a plate or plate.
  6. After the onions have softened, stir to the side and add bread to the pan.
  7. Fry the bread for 4 minutes on each side, then lift the plate.
  8. Pour the onions in a pan, then sprinkle flour over the face and cook with constant stirring for one minute.
  9. Pour the remaining meat stock into the pan, stir constantly, then scrape the brown meat from the bottom of the pan.
  10. Reduce medium heat to low, then bring the bread back to the pan.
  11. Cover each pie evenly with cheese. Cover the pan and cook for another 6-8 minutes until the cheese has melted and the sauce thickens, then the meat is cooked.

Please note that I recommend using ground beef with a fat content of 15% to 20% for the best taste, but if necessary, lean beef can be used.

Note: The remaining food can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Alternative: If you are sensitive to salt, you may need to use low-sodium broth / broth in this recipe. You can use Italian breadcrumbs or regular bread instead of Panko breadcrumbs. If necessary, it is best to make this recipe with mozzarella, cheddar or cheddar, not provolone.
